Turbo Cummins:

Manufacturer of turbo charges for engines. In the production unit of Cummins Inc., they have three main stations in the assembly line. 

The three stations generate thousands of data files in dat formats, these files have various details of individual parts of the turbo charger and each file has in depth detail of the particular part! For example a single Bolt has an individual file.

Problem statement:

The problem in this system was if a part has an error or defect in the (assembly line), the file will have all the details of that error, defect or any kind of issues, So, their employees have to read each and every file one by one and convert it in a readable format manually, for example in Excel! So, it was a very lengthy process to complete, and takes time for 15-20 days. Even takes more than a month in case needed more detailed information!

Solution:

So our solution was to make an Artificial Intelligence based application which will fetch thousands of data files from the Assembly Line directly or can be uploaded separately, it will read each and every word, even characters sometime from each file and then searching various parameters like error defects or any kind of issues provided by the engineers using AI algorithms and generator in readable format for a single particular part or as required by their employees, for example in an excel sheet.

Key point:

So by using our application, the time has reduced from 15 days approximately to process huge data manually, to some hours, even some task needs less than 1-2 hours to process thousands of files uploaded and give results in a readable format in excel!

It saved their time, cost & efforts!
